Personal Profile
刘默芳(女),博士,现任同济大学长聘特聘教授。入选新基石研究员、国家杰出青年科学基金、国家“万人计划”科技创新领军人才、东方英才团队等人才项目,主持科技部重点研发计划等项目,现任《中国科学:生命科学》副主编、中国生化与分子生物学会RNA专业委员会主任。主要从事RNA调控与雄性生殖研究,面向国际前沿和人口健康,针对精子发生极其复杂并有许多未解之谜、男性不育一半以上病因不明并已成为全球性社会问题等,聚焦RNA调控与精子发生和男性不育,获得了系列原创重大研究成果,包括首次证明piRNA调控通路异常是男性不育新病因、揭示了精子细胞mRNA翻译调控和清除降解新机制等,解答了精子发生中多个未解之谜,提出了新的理论,提升了对雄性生殖规律和男性不育病因的认识,引领了RNA调控与生殖前沿领域;以通讯/共通讯作者在Science、Cell(2篇)、New Engl J Med、Nat Cell Biol、Mol Cell、Dev Cell等发表论文40多篇,受邀NatRev Mol Cell Biol长文综述,系统总结了PIWI/piRNA研究进展;成果入选上海市自然科学一等奖、全国妇幼健康科学技术奖自然科学一等奖、国家“十三五”蛋白质专项5项重大成果之一、中国生命科学十大进展及中国科学院科技创新亮点成果(2次)等。先后获发展中国家科学院(TWAS)生物学奖、中国细胞生物学学会杰出成就奖、谈家桢生命科学创新奖、上海市巾帼创新奖等荣誉。多次受邀Keystone、EMBO、Gordon等重要国际学术会议报告,组织EMBO、CSHA等重要国际国内学术会议,促进了我国相关领域的发展和融入国际主流。
