专业领域为天文学—天体测量与天体力学,在太阳系外行星和脉动变星的研究方向,主持一项国家自然科学基金(已结题),发表了 30 篇期刊论文,研究成果包括:利用开普勒卫星数据证认太阳系外行星,发现光致蒸发效应倾向于破坏卫星轨道的稳定性,通过分析南极的中国之星小望远镜阵测光数据发现掩食双星,以及探测和研究恒星脉动和耀发等。目前的研究兴趣为太阳系小天体和太阳系形成与演化。
