Personal Profile
同济大学航空航天与力学学院教授。2008年毕业于中国科学技术大学,获理学学士学位,2013年获香港中文大学理学博士学位,毕业后到美国加州大学圣巴巴拉分校从事博士后研究工作,2016年加入同济大学。2018年,获得海外高层次人才项目资助。韦萍从事实验流体研究,以浮力驱动的Rayleigh-Bénard热对流这个经典的流体力学模型系统为研究对象,攻克多点温度测量技术难点,在实验上发现了新的物理现象,取得了系列创新性的研究成果,引发湍流热对流研究热点。目前担任中国力学学会专业名词委员会成员,中国力学学会对外交流委员会成员,上海力学学会流体力学专委会副主任。
