聚焦“纳米技术与干细胞工程”方向,开展细胞力学生物学、靶向药物递送和神经组织工程研究,在Nature Communications、Science Advances等期刊以通讯/第一作者发表文章20余篇,总引用3000余次,H-index为29;在世界生物材料大会、国际生物力学大会、国际生物材料大会、中国纳米大会、亚太神经脊柱大会等国际会议做报告,获哥伦比亚大学TRx Award、国际神经再生修复学会青年论坛一等奖等奖项,得到国家海外优青、国家自然科学基金委青年项目、科技部重点研发项目、教育部王宽诚基金会等项目资助;担任多项国家级项目和省部级奖项评审专家以及Exploration (及时影响因子>30,全球综合类期刊排名第5)期刊副主编。
