Personal Profile
徐美东,外科学博士,主任医师,教授,博士生导师。现任同济大学附属东方医院副院长,消化内科及消化内镜中心主任。上海市第十六届人大代表、上海市工会代表。获国家级百千万人才工程“有突出贡献中青年专家”、上海市五一劳动奖章、上海市优秀学术带头人、上海领军人才、上海工匠、上海市科技精英(提名奖)、上海市医务工匠、浦东新区科技精英、浦东工匠。
主要从事消化内镜微创治疗,是国内最早开展ESD治疗消化道早癌及癌前病变、POEM治疗贲门失弛缓症的专家之一,是我国乃至世界消化内镜切除技术迅速发展的推动者和引领者之一。2011年在国际上首创STER术治疗各种消化道黏膜下肿瘤,该术式极大地提高了内镜切除手术的安全性,被作为治疗黏膜下肿瘤的标准安全手术方式写入国内及国际多个指南。多次应邀出席参加美国、意大利、西班牙、德国、荷兰、希腊、印度等世界各地举办的国际消化内镜学术大会,通过大会主题演讲及手术操作演示,在世界各地推广以STER为代表的内镜切除新技术。目前STER已经在临床广泛开展应用,并被业界称之为“徐氏手术”,造福了数以万计的患者。同时在国内率先开展了多项内镜诊疗新技术:如国内第一例急性完全性大肠梗阻的导管和支架治疗、第一例经鼻胃镜置管和支架术、第一例超声胃镜引导下胃空肠吻合术等、第一例自控式防狭窄水囊防治食管狭窄。
近年来主持科研课题10余项,其中国家级课题4项,省部级课题7项。第一/通讯发表SCI论文50余篇,包括《Gastroenterology》、《Gut》、《American Journal of Gastroenterology》、《Annalsof Surgery》、《Gastrointestinal Endoscopy》、《Endoscopy》等世界顶级消化内镜或外科学杂志,总影响因子300余分,被引用次数超过1000次。主编专著4部,参编10余部。作为主要完成人,荣获国家科技进步二等奖、上海市科技进步奖一等奖、华夏医学科技一等奖、教育部科技进步奖一等奖、上海市优秀发明奖银奖等多项省部级奖项及荣誉。现任中华医学会消化内镜学分会全国委员、消化内镜隧道技术协作组副组长,中国医师协会内镜医师分会常委,上海市医学会消化内镜分会委员兼秘书,上海市抗癌协会消化内镜专业委员会副主任委员等学术任职,《中华消化内镜杂志》、《中国内镜杂志》等杂志编委。
