Personal Profile
比利时鲁汶大学医学博士,美国哈佛大学和康涅狄格州立大学免疫学博士后,教授、主任医师、博士生导师。入选国家人事部“百千万人才工程国家级人选”、教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划、上海市优秀学科带头人等人才培养项目,享受国务院政府特殊津贴;承担有国家重点研发计划、国家自然科学基金重大研究计划、重点项目等科研项目,开展炎症性肠病的免疫病理学发病机制和临床诊治研究;获得比利时胃肠病学会、美国克罗恩病及溃疡性结肠炎基金会“青年研究奖”、教育部科技进步二等奖、华夏医学科技进步奖二等奖。
刘占举教授带领的团队主要聚焦在炎症性肠病(inflammatory bowel diseases, IBD)的临床诊治和基础转化研究,目前团队拥有医师15人、2名博士后、12名博士/硕士研究生。近年来,围绕着IBD的临床诊疗和基础研究做出了突出贡献,对IBD患者开展了易感基因和血清标志物早期诊断研究,科学地开展了对疾病分型和分层管理,实施了肠内外营养和生物免疫靶向治疗等,取得了很好的临床疗效,使患者得到康复。围绕着易感基因、肠黏膜组织内各种免疫细胞的异常免疫应答在IBD发病过程中的病理生理机制开展了深入研究,发表了一系列高水平学术论文,在国内外同行领域有很高的学术影响。
近年来,先后主持承担了多项国家自然科学基金重点项目、重大研究计划和面上项目,主要研究IBD免疫病理学发病机制。
