科研团队主要研究方向为：

1、泌尿系肿瘤的病因研究及微创治疗，尤其是肾脏肿瘤的病因研究和临床治疗学研究 (Etiological research and minimally invasive treatment of urinary tract tumors, especially the etiological research and clinical therapeutic research of renal tumors);

2、泌尿外科结石的腔镜诊疗及机制研究，尤其是对复杂肾结石的诊断、治疗以及病因学研究 (Endoscopic diagnosis and treatment and mechanism research of urolithiasis, especially the diagnosis, treatment and etiology of complex kidney stones);

3、男性生殖的病因研究和临床治疗学研究 (Etiological research and clinical therapeutic research of male Reproductive Medicine)。

      截至2023-2024学年，课题组内现有在读博士研究生11名，在读硕士研究生4名，既往已毕业硕博士研究生共计20余名。团队累计发表SCI期刊论文40余篇，中文核心期刊论文30余篇。多名博士毕业生获得国家自然科学基金青年项目。

1. REGγ通过调控IκBε对睾丸间质细胞炎症的作用及分子机制研究  (Effects of REGγ on Leydig cell inflammation by regulating IκBε and its molecular mechanism);

2. REG通过调控P53对雄性生殖发育中的作用及分子机制研究 (The role and molecular mechanism of REG in male reproductive development by regulating P53);

3. 条件增敏和敲除糖皮质激素受体活性导致Leydig细胞睾酮降低的机制 (Mechanism of testosterone reduction in Leydig cells by conditional sensitization and knockdown of glucocorticoid receptor activity)。

        主持和参加科研课题10余项。以第一负责人先后主持国家自然科学基金面上项目3项，上海市自然科学基金项目3项，上海申康医院发展中心基金项目1项，上海市卫生局青年基金1项，上海市卫健委课题1项，同济大学附属第十人民医院泌尿系结石特色专科基金1项，同济大学附属第十人民医院后备博士生导师基金1项，同济大学附属第十人民医院350项目1项，同济大学教材出版基金2项。主编专著3部，主译专著1部，参编专著2部，以第一作者和通讯作者发表SCI收录论文41篇，最高分值15分。中文核心期刊30余篇，2006年获得上海市第十人民医院最佳主治医师称号，2009年获得上海市第十人民医院临床成果二等奖，2012年获得首届患者心中好医生称号。先后获得国家专利6项,2011年获得中华医学科技奖三等奖，2012年获教育部科技进步一等奖及上海市医学科技奖二等奖。

Professor Xupresided and participated in more than 10 scientific research projects. As thefirst person in charge, he has successively presided over 3 general projects ofthe National Natural Science Foundation of China, 2 projects of the ShanghaiNatural Science Foundation, 1 project of Shanghai Hospital Development Center,1project from the Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau Youth Fund, 1 project of theShanghai Municipal Health and Health Commission, and 2 textbook publishingfunds of Tongji University. Professor Xu edited 2 monographs and translated 1monograph. He also participated in editing 2 monographs and published 39SCI-indexed papers as the first author and corresponding author, with a maximumscore of 15 points. He has published more than 30 articles in Chinese corejournals. In 2006, he was awarded the title of Best Attending Physician inShanghai Tenth People's Hospital. In 2009, he won the second prize for clinicalachievements in Shanghai Tenth People's Hospital. He has successively won 6national patents, the third prize of the China Medical Science and TechnologyAward in 2011, the first prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award ofthe Ministry of Education, and the second prize of the Shanghai Medical Scienceand Technology Award in 2012.
